Thanks to all at the Cocoanut for making the night a huge success. A great evening for families and friends. We already look forward to next years!

The weather held to help make the third MillFest a huge success. This years charity was Kingston based, Momentum Children’s Charity. The total raised was £2,103  A huge thank you to all of those involved, especially the bands who donated their time and effort for free.

An event to say goodbye to Ken and Jen who leave for Hong Kong at the end of the month. The conga wove from house to house and marked each garden on various categories. The categories included: yellowness of grass, number of animal poos, creative use of junk, wildlife, how colourful, creative use of space, chill-ability, edible stuff, imaginative bum resting. We started in the Cocoanut and finished in the Cocoanut. Click on the left hand link for pics and info

   Millfest 09

A huge thank you to all those who got involved, attended, spent money or just put up with the racket we made. With bands to brick a brack, burgers to beer, face painting to Ferrari rides, flowers, sweets, cakes and tarot cards all of which combined to generate £1942.50 for the Kingston based  Momentum, children’s cancer charity. The amount raised was up on last year despite higher overheads which included the portaloo, tent hire, banners and public liability insurance.

  Millfest returns this September 5th.  It will be held on Mill Street Green and is set up to raise money for Kingston based Momentum children’s charity 

Momentum is a registered charity established in 2004 which aims to help children and the families of children undergoing treatment for cancer in Surrey. Momentum was set up by parents who have first hand experience of these life-changing events, with the simple goal of trying to help others in similar circumstances.

A date has been set!     30 th May 2009.

Come and set up a stall and sell your old stuff.

The A.G.M will be held on the 23 rd Feb. 2009 in Greenleas at 20.00 hrs
